Zambia's greatest footballer — a hat-trick against Italy at the 1988 Olympics, 39 goals in 87 caps, and the man who rebuilt the national team after the 1993 air disaster killed it.
Kalusha Bwalya played for Zambia at the 1988 Olympic Games, where he scored a hat-trick in a 4–0 win over Italy.
He made 87 international appearances and scored 39 goals between 1983 and 2004. He was not on the flight that killed most of the national squad in 1993, and led the rebuilt team afterwards.
